Melinda Ziff

CEO

Melinda is our founder with over 40 years of experience in private health. She can often be found having 3 conversations at once and her big loves are her new grandson Jack, her beloved Stanley and handbags (of course).

Georgina Ziff

Operations Manager

Georgina comes with a wealth of experience in clinical trials and has been with us for nearly 3 years. She loves Lola (the other top dog), going to the gym, playing board games and savouring the delights of expensive restaurants in new places amongst friends.

Julie Mason

Practice Manager

Julie has been with us for nearly 6 years, bringing her alternative people-focused outlook to the team and years of experience in communication. She enjoys keeping things light-hearted and can often be found with a paintbrush in her hand out of hours.

Onboarding Specialist

Lilly quickly revealed her top skill of multi-tasking and remaining calm when dealing with a plethora of new doctor demands. She fits seamlessly into this key role where she is a trusted go-to when bringing our new doctors on board, keeping them calm and happy. Out of the office her unbounding energy is channelled onto a netball court or around the biggest theme parks the world can offer!

Chloe has been with us for nearly 3 years, and has quickly honed her skills to become an expert in all things Carebit. She loves to plan a holiday (and an outfit or two) and can often be found relaying the details of her ambitious cooking! Then it’s off to the gym and gearing people up for a night out.

Stanley and Lola are the original office buddies and are regulars in the team offering a welcome distraction, a little comfort and an excuse to get out into the outside world for a dose of fresh air. Just remember to hide your lunch!

At MSS, our story is rooted in understanding the real pressures consultants face. Founder Melinda Ziff’s journey – from early medical studies to building trusted relationships with London’s leading hospitals – shapes the personal, proactive service we provide today.

Foundations in medicine

MSS Founder Melinda begins her path in pre-med studies in America, gaining an early insight into the demands and responsibilities faced by clinicians.

Bringing experience home

After returning to the UK and completing an AMSPAR course at Hammersmith and West London College, Melinda channels her sharp mind and strong organisational skills into medical secretarial work. She quickly builds a reputation for her attention to detail and professionalism.

Over the following decades - and while starting a family, Melinda works in private and NHS hospitals across London, supporting over 250 specialists and building strong relationships with all of the city’s leading private hospitals. She comes to understand the unique working practices of each, earning a reputation for reliability and depth of knowledge.

Listening and learning

First-hand experience shows Melinda a recurring challenge: most consultants see admin and accounting as a necessary burden, often put off until “tomorrow.” By listening - whether to an overworked doctor or a patient newly diagnosed - Melinda becomes the person people turn to for support and solutions.

Encouraged by consultants who value her personal approach, Melinda founds MedicalSec Services Ltd to offer bespoke secretarial, accounting, and full practice management for consultants. Her goal: to take the weight of admin off doctors’ shoulders, so nothing falls through the cracks.
